On 5 April 2022 NordSEnt partners AU and NTNU held a blended seminar at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway
"Sustainable entrepreneurship – local and global approaches"
A seminar inviting scholars and practitioners to co-create solutions to real-world challenges in start-ups and entrepreneurship education related to sustainability. By taking an inductive approach, we would like to explore approaches and challenges related to sustainability in start-ups, potential solutions and implications for education.
3 startup cases presented their biggest challenges related to sustainability. 3 groups of participants discussed the challenges and reflected on best and next practices regarding facilitation of sustainable entrepreneurs in teaching, hubs and incubators.
On 12 November 2021 the NordSEnt partners launched its network in a blended event at CBS:
"Breaking down the barriers to teaching and learning in sustainable entrepreneurship education"
Contents of the event:
Kåre Moberg & Kai Hockerts / Anne-Karen Hueske (FFE & CBS) presented central barriers to sustainable entrepreneurship education.
Jim Seltenrijch & Marge Täks from Estonian Business School presented their model and logic for teaching sustainable entrepreneurship, putting it into practice in a 6-semester framework.
Breakout activity in groups discussed: What aspects of sustainability could be embedded into each phase?
